Repair Corps Program
The Repair Corps program is an extension of our housing initiative and aims to help veteran families maintain and stay in their homes. Habitat for Humanity of Greater Cincinnati completes home repair work up, valued at up to $10,000 per partnering family which is then paid back with a zero interest loan that can be extended up to 10 years. The repairs can be interior or exterior work performed to alleviate critical health, life and safety issues or code violations, including a change to or repair of materials or components; a reconfiguration of space, a modification for accessibility; installation or extension of plumbing, mechanical or electrical systems on an existing structure.
Any veteran with proof of an honorable discharge or still serving in the Armed Forces may apply to the Repair Corps program. Income guidelines are the same as those for the Homeownership program.
